Tyler, the Creator continues to solidify himself as an artist and mogul. His clothing brand GOLF WANG, his annual Camp Flog Gnaw festival, and providing critically-acclaimed albums makes the rapper one that will continue to the leave mark in pop culture.
He is currently on tour supporting his latest LP IGOR. The album has received much critical acclaim and is getting the grammy-buzz. His recent show at San Diego's Pechanga Arena provided the hype, fun and live versions of tracks from IGOR.
Doors: Based on the SD show, doors opened at 6pm. Arrived at 6:30 and doors were open.
Merch: Merch was much like has what has been shown on the internet. Fair Warning: the IGOR: I See Light Shirt sells out FAST so I would suggest getting there when doors open. Merch lines were long and they did have multiple tents but fair warning.

Opening Acts: For this stop, Blood Orange and Goldlink opened. I did not get to see much of Goldlink due to the merch lines being THAT long but ended seeing the last song he did, which his hit "Crew." Blood Orange came on shortly after and it was a stunning performance, probably the best show he has put on after seeing him a couple times prior. While slaying the guitar and singing beautifully, I was so mesmerized by the visuals that was displayed behind him. What seemed like a short film, it was as if i was watching this film with an amazing soundtrack/score behind it.
Crowd: The crowd was one of the most energetic crowds this year. Filled with 12 year olds with great fashion taste, there had to be at 4-5 moshpits going at once throughout the show. I did take into account that this was the only Southern California show since he is headlining his own Camp Flog Gnaw in LA in November, meaning LA, OC and SD crowds were combined. I was glad I was not in the pit to be honest, but the crowd was digging Tyler and his slick dance moves.
Tyler put on one hell of a one man show, with dance moves that I have never seen and a short bob blonde wig with a well fitted suit. I can't wait to see where he goes in the next few years, where he will be a headliner at many major music festivals.
